Simplify your connections using CompactCom Modbus Serial Interface

The CompactCom 40 Modbus Serial network communication module is an easy to use low cost communication solution for simple industrial field devices. The product combines the simplicity of the Modbus Serial protocol with the flexibility of the Anybus NP40 technology. It is perfect for applications like basic level I/O blocks, temperature controllers, measuring devices, sensors and other devices where size, implementation effort and time is an issue.

The CompactCom 40 Modbus Serial software interface is designed to be network protocol independent, making it possible to support several networking systems using the same application software code/driver. The host communication is based on Modbus RTU, a proven protocol which is easy to implement yet flexible enough to provide room for future expansion.

Anybus CompactCom B40 Modbus Serial Interface - CC-Link

The CompactCom B40 Modbus Serial for CC-Link enable simple communication between your device and the CC-Link network.

The CompactCom B40 Brick gives you the flexibility to add your own connectors and network isolation. An alternative is to use the ready-made connector board from HMS. The B40 Brick is ideal for device manufacturers who are looking for a semi-integrated solution where connector flexibility, size and cost are key elements.

By implementing the CompactCom B40 Brick into your product line, you can get connected to other B40 supported networks simply by switching to another CompactCom B40 Brick.

The CompactCom B40 Brick enables communication between your device and CC-Link.
It handles data lengths up to 128 word points of 16 bit data and supports both CC-Link v1.10 and v2.00. The B40 CC-Link supports generic device profiles. It also comes with a dual port switch implemented in the network processor — the award-winning Anybus NP40.
