 PROFINET-IO slave/device PCI Interface

The Anybus PCI PROFINET-IO slave/device card is a complete solution including a protocol processor that unloads the host device. It can be used in any device including a PCI slot such as industrial PCs etc. The module is based on the Siemens PROFINET-IO software stack.Profinet Functions:The PROFINET-IO card works as an I/O-Device on the PROFINET-IO network. The card supports up to 1013 bytes of IO for both Input and Output data. The baudrate is 100Mbit/s (full duplex). The IP-adress is set using a PROFINET-IO configuration tool such as Step7 from Siemens. A utility from HMS called Anybus IPconfig is also available for TCP/IP configuration.
