The Anybus-CompactCom for Profinet IO is a Profinet IO Device, providing instant Profinet IO connectivity via the uniform Anybus-CompactCom host interface.Since the Anybus-CompactCom software interface is designed to be protocol independent, no additional driver code needs to be written in order to use the module; ADIs and Process Data can be accessed from the Profinet IO network, and important host application events can be reported to the network in a standardized way using the Diagnostic Object.All analog and digital components that are needed for a complete Profinet IO interface with soft-real time (RT) are mounted on the module.
