 FIPIO Serial Gateway

The Anybus Communicator Gateway for FIPIO is an external DIN-rail mounted gateway which provides FIPIO network connectivity via a serial RS232/RS422/RS485 interface.It has serial protocol support for Modbus RTU Master Mode and Generic Data Mode which is fully configurable through the ABC Config Tool for Windows and the configuration port on the Anybus Communicator. Other protocols can be implemented by HMS on request. FIPIO station adress can be selected via switches on the front side of the module. A transformer connection on the module provides a isolated fieldbus interface.A FIPIO network can consist of up to 255 different modules. Each segment of the bus can handle 32 modules. The total ...
