Evaluation Board

The Anybus evaluation board is a complete stand alone 8051 based microcontroller environment with an integrated empty Anybus-S slot and an on-board LCD display. The evaluation board can be used to examine the serial and parallel AnyBus software and hardware interface in conjunction with the popular 8051 family microprocessors.

It is optimized for usage with Keil´s C51 software development toolkit, which is included in a code-limited freeware version. For easy connection to logic analyzers, other development tools or to additional target hardware components, all applicable controller and logic signals are available via connector rows at the edges of the board.

The package includes complete software drivers in C-Source code for the interface between the AnyBus module and the 8051 based microprocessor as well as complete schematics and an easy to understand user manual with many useful hints for developers.

Any AnyBus-S or AnyBus-M module in standard configuration, either with parallel Dual Port Ram interface or with serial interface can be inserted in the AnyBus slot of the evaluation board.

The AnyBus-S or Anybus-M module itself is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately. The evaluation board requires an external 5Volt/600 mA power supply.
