Profibus PROFIdrive V2 interface

This Anybus-S module is tailor made for usage in drive applications. In addition to the standard Profibus-DP/DPV1 services, a complete PROFIdrive Profile server is included into the on-board firmware. The ProfiDrive profile server can be easily adopted to the functionality of the drive by using the HMS Drive Profile configuration tool. The interface transmits up to 65 k Byte of parameter data to/from the drive. The module supports the parallel Dual Port Ram interface as well as the serial Rx/Tx Host interface.
The module supports the acyclic DPV1 parameter channel implemented according to PROFIdrive V3.

The ABSDP Development Tool for Windows is used to configure the Profile Server in the module. It enables customer specific settings, vendor name, device name and parameter configuration. The tool will also generate the necessary EDS-file for fieldbus network configuration.
