Anybus Industrial Ethernet Solutions

So far HMS has made a commitment to support 6 Industrial Ethernet protocols. Modbus-TCP, EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Ethernet Powerlink, EtherCAT and FLNet with more to follow.

The Anybus approach to Industrial Ethernet
There are today about 14 different Industrial Ethernet protocols available.
Choosing which Ethernet protocol or protocols to use for your product is not an easy decision. HMS now supports 6 Industrial Ethernet protocols within the Anybus product range. It is most likely more new Ethernet protocols will be added to the ever growing Anybus range.

Anybus simplifies this difficult decision by greatly minimizing the risk and cost of developing one or multiple Ethernet protocols for your next generation product, and at the same the time, make your product future proof for supporting more protocols if the need arises.

Embedded Ethernet
For Embedded Anybus Ethernet solutions the same "Anybus" concept of interchangeability between networks is also relavant. Therefore with an embedded Anybus you product can support any of these above metioned Ethernet protocols in your product range by simply exchanging modules.

Ethernet Gateways
For Ethernet Gateway solutions, HMS provides one individual product for each combination of networks/protocols. This can be Ethernet to Serial RS232/422/485 or Ethernet to Ethernet (Profinet to EtherNet/IP), or Ethernet to Fieldbus (14 Fieldbus networks to choose from).

Embedded "IT" Functions
Anybus Ethernet products contain embedded IT functions such as Web Server, Email, FTP, Security & Configuration functions that bring extra functionality to the factory floor.
