Status regarding the introduction of RoHS compliant products at HMS

During 2006, HMS started to introduce products compliant with the RoHS-directive 2002/95/EC. New products as well as replacements for existing products are released continuously.

A very limited number of products, less than 1% of all products delivered from HMS, are still subject to investigation due to the present lack of lead free alternatives to the components used today. However, following HMS’ ambition to offer all products compliant, HMS is working together with component suppliers to investigate if there are solutions for these products too.
